Day 4: Bitter Creek

With my ATV certification in hand, I was headed up to Bitter Creek, the other refuge further north.

Bitter Creek is definitely a change of pace: smooth dirt roads, rolling hills. Everywhere you need to be is just a short drive away. There is a flight pen for training new condors to deal with the human world they will encounter on the outside. There are some barns with owls inside. Condors don't nest at Bitter Creek, they only drop by to feed every now and then.
