I spent the day in the flight pen blind, unobserved by the condors within (the beauty of one-way glass). This funny little starling kept coming up to the window--oblivious to my presence--and eyeing his reflection in its mirrored surface.
The ravens that land on the top of the flight pen frequently torment the condors by reaching their beaks in through the mesh to knock the many-times-larger birds on their bald heads. Sometimes, though, the condors take their revenge by nipping the ravens' toes.
