On the trail of 512
One of mine and Katie's top priorities this week was keeping track of a newly-released young'un, 512. We spent all morning looking for where he might have roosted, to no avail.
I whiled away the afternoon watching the nest, waiting for the chick to hatch. No dice. I couldn't even make out the pipping hole.
